Happy Shopping!
Many people appreciate wild birds and build bird houses to keep them near. Glassblowers often built houses for birds. The whistle of the gas flame attracted birds and prompted them to sing. Then and now, the delightful singing of birds is a symbol of happiness and joy.
The Greenwich Historical Society's mission is to preserve and interpret Greenwich history to strengthen the community’s connection to our past, to each other and to our future. All proceeds from our museum store support this mission.
